DEPARTMENT:  Youth & Family Enrichment

JOB SUMMARY:  The Outreach and Engagement Specialist provides outreach, engagement, and support services to youth, families, and the community on the Tulalip Reservation. This position increases participation in youth programs through community outreach, relationship-building, and culturally relevant, trauma-informed services. Responsibilities include coordinating after-school programs, partnering with Tribal and community organizations, promoting healthy behaviors, and engaging youth and families through school and community-based activities to ensure quality programming and positive outcomes.

COMPENSATION:  $23.25 hr.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Associate Degree in Human Services or other related field *Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year for year basis.

MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE

• Three (3) years of computer experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs.
• Two (2) years of experience working or volunteering with youth & families (teaching, activities, coaching, mentoring, etc.)
• Two (2) years of experience in customer service.

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES

• WA State Driver’s License. (Personal Auto Insurance)
• Must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulation (Abstract Required)
• CPR/First Aid certificate.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  This is a regular Full-Time position.
