DEPARTMENT: Positive Youth Development

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for coordinating the Positive Youth Development program. Provide sustainable and successful support programs, events, and activities that promote positive youth development and leadership. Work to ensure native youth are being provided the tools & support needed to excel in their educational endeavors. Oversees Youth Development and leadership programs; including Youth Employment, to make sure proper policy and procedures are being implemented and followed.

COMPENSATION:  $33.27

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Social Services, Education or related field. *Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.

MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE

• Five (5) years of experience working in a Youth Services Field, i.e., Education, prevention, etc.
• Five (5) years of computer experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs.
• Five (5) years of experience planning and executing events and activities.
• Five (5) of experience with supervisory responsibilities. 
• Five (5) years of experience with financial management, creating and maintaining budgets.

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES

• WA State Driver License (Personal Auto Insurance)
• Must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulations. (Abstract Required)
• CPR/First Aide Certificate.
• Mental Health First Aid Certificate. *Will allow six (6) months to obtain.
• Special Education (IEP) Training. *Will allow six (6) months to obtain.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  This is a regular Full-time position.
